2010 MoKanRef Spring Basketball Officials Camp
ADVANCING AS AN OFFICIAL IS ALL ABOUT IMPROVEMENT...
Improving Your Mechanics, Improving Your Court Presence, Improving Your Ability To Manage A Game, Improving Your Ability To Manage the Coach, Improving How You "See" The Game, Improving Your Conditioning.
Your first step in the improvement process is attendance at the MoKanRef.Com Officials Spring Camp. MoKanRef will be hosting a 3-day basketball camp for all MoKanRef officials. Camp dates are May 14 - 16. We will utilize a number of Independence School District facilities. This camp will focus on 2 and 3-man mechanics and proper floor coverage for high school and middle school games. There will be classroom time for Q&A, including discussions about rules, the assignment process, evaluations and expectations.
There is a $95.00 fee for this camp. ON-LINE REGISTRATION DEADLINE is April 15, 2010. The fee to register after the deadline is $120.00. Checks or Money Orders should be mailed to

FORMAT
The camp is designed to instruct officials on the finer points of basketball officiating. We will accomplish our objectives with the use of classroom lectures, court demonstrations, court presentation, and evaluations of the official’s performance through games. This camp is designed to elevate officials to their next level. It is our goal to offer the knowledge in all areas to enhance your officiating careers.
What to Bring: Black and white referee shirt, MoKanRef Grey referee shirt (if available), whistle, black pants and black referee shoes.
